Day 1 : Welcome to Kathmandu (1400m/4620 ft) International Airport, Nepal.
You have arrived in the vibrant capital city of the Himalayan kingdom. Upon landing, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel, where your adventure truly begins. After checking in at Hotel, the group will be formally introduced to your guide, who will provide an outline of the activities planned for the coming days. It’s essential to pay close attention during this briefing, especially regarding safety protocols. If you have any questions or uncertainties, please feel free to ask for clarification at this time.

Day 2 : Flight from Kathmandu or Manthali to Lukla, followed by a trek to Phakding (2,650m / 8,562ft).
During peak trekking seasons (March, April, May, September, October, and November), flights may be rerouted to Manthali due to congestion. In these cases, travelers will be picked up at around 12:30 AM for a five-hour drive, followed by a 20-minute flight to Lukla. Of-f-peak months allow for a direct 40-minute flight from Kathmandu.
For those wishing to avoid the Manthali drive, helicopter transfers are available at an additional cost of around $350 per person (for groups of five). The trek to Everest Base Camp begins on the first day, leading from Lukla through Chaurikharka village to Dudhkoshi Ghat before arriving at Phakding. This initial trek is easy and allows for altitude acclimatization and visits to local monasteries like Rimishung Monastery in preparation for more challenging hikes ahead.
