After breakfast, we will start an interesting tour of Kathmandu. Try to give a full taste of our vibrant cultural scene and the enchanting way of its people with an English-speaking guide (any language speaking guide can be provided if desired). During our trip we will visit Swayambhu Nath, Pashupatinath and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: Built between the 12th and 18th centuries, this complex of palaces, courtyards and temples was once the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. A fascinating piece is a stone inscription from the 17th century placed on the wall of the palace with inscriptions in 15 languages. Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the social, religious and civic center of the city.

Swayambhu Nath: This 2,000-year-old hilltop stupa is the world's grandest Buddhist shrine and is surrounded by several small pagodas. The lid of the main temple is a gilded copper, brass and the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha are painted on its four sides.

Pashupatinath: The temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is the holiest and most famous temple in Nepal. Located 5 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River, it is an impressive pagoda-style structure with a gilded roof and richly carved silver doors. There are baths and cremation places, which are of interest to tourists especially in the morning and during festival days.

Day 4: Trek from Syabrubesi (1460m) to Lama Hotel (2460m)

Yala Peak Climbing Trip takes you through challenging terrains from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel. The Bhote Koshi River can be seen meandering through its surroundings. You start walking early to reach your destination before dark. The Yala Peak Climbing route starts from a remote and difficult environment and leads to the Lama Hotel. On the way you will stop at Guru Rinpoche Gompa. After that, a paved road will take you through Langtang Khola.

After that, you will continue your journey along the suspension bridge until you reach the Bamboo village. The red pandas, which are the highlights of the trek, are famous in the community. Oaks, spruces and pines line the road to the forest. You can also see several species of animals such as black bears, monkeys, red pandas, Himalayan spots and others. Before arriving at the Lama Hotel, where you will spend the night, hikers pass through the small towns of Rimche and other nearby communities. Starting from the Lama Hotel, the Yala Peak climbing route takes you through several difficult terrains to Langtang Village. The route then takes you to some of the most spectacular views in the area. Langtang Khola is accessible by a road through a forest full of oak and rhododendron trees. The routes are lined with spruce and maple. A challenging hike then leads to a viewpoint where you can see Mount Langtang Lirung (7,244 meters). Several suspension bridges have to be crossed to reach Ghora Tabela. Before reaching Langtang, the Ghora Tabela trails pass several cuffs, chortens and prayer wheels. The landscapes of Langtang National Park include the picturesque community of Langtang. There are several houses with flat roofs and stone walls in the village. There are several large buckwheat, potato and barley fields here. After reaching Langtang, trekkers can admire the wonderful surroundings and then relax by spending the night there.

Today, the Yala Peak Climbing Trail takes you through the stunning scenery of the area. To do this, it is necessary to climb steep slopes from Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa. The route also passes Buddhist landmarks such as chortens, hand walls and prayer flags. Before reaching Mundun, one has to climb a high cliff on the top of the mountain, which leads through difficult terrain. The city is still located at an altitude of about 3,442 meters.

Your climbing route from Yala Peak indicates that today is an acclimatization day. The acclimatization phase is crucial in all high-altitude migrations. It offers the ability to adapt to high terrains. In such situations, oxygen and air pressure are lower. So, you can adapt to the place quite quickly, allowing you to enjoy the roads. Equally important is the preparation for the spectacular summit of Yala, which you will complete on the day of the trek.

The stunning grounds, including the monastery and its tranquil surroundings, are open for exploration. The monastery offers opportunities for spiritual contemplation and night singing. There is also a former cheese factory nearby, where you can stop to taste delicious dairy products. Today you will start your journey from Kyanjin Gompa to Yala Base Camp to climb Yala Peak. You have to overcome several obstacles before reaching this amazing base camp. This is the most important day of the Yala Peak climbing route because it is the day to finally climb Yala Peak. Early in the morning you will start the climb to the top of Yala. It is not very difficult to climb to the top, so beginners with good physical condition can do it. Rising Yala Peak offers you several obstacles. With the help of mountaineering equipment, you will travel through many sectors. You will see the mountains and other natural wonders of the Langtang region in amazing detail.

The journey to the top and back to Kyanjin Gompa takes about eight hours. From the highest point of the peak, you can see all the neighboring peaks including Dorje Lakpa, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, Langtang Lirung, Shishapangma, Ganchenko and others. You can take as many photos of the amazing area as you want, then you can return to base camp and continue your descent to Kyanjin Gompa, where you will spend the night.

After a wonderful stay at Kyanjin Gompa, it's time to say goodbye to the wonderful Buddhist community. Today's walk will be significantly longer than before. Before starting today's journey, you will enjoy breakfast and admire the views of the snowy peaks. Continuing the same route, you will return through Langtang Khola. To reach the village of Langtang, you have to pass through the settlements of well-known yak breeders and large alpine fields. Then continue and turn right towards Ghoda Tabela. From there you quickly descend to the Lama Hotel. You check into the Lama Hotel's most elegant room. Afterwards, it's time to relax and enjoy the view of pine trees and alpine roses swaying in the mountain breeze.
