Kathmandu Darbar Square
Kathmandu Durbar Square: This complex of palaces, courtyards, and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu. An intriguing piece here is the 17th century stone inscription set into the wall of the palace with writings in 15 languages. The Durbar square, protected as an UNESCO world Heritage site, is the social, Religious, and urban focal point of the city. There are museums inside the palace building. There is an entrance fee of Rs.1000 for foreign visitors. Your ticket to the Square entitles you to visit all the museums.
Boudhnath Stupa
Boudhnath is a significant UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world, located in Kathmandu, Nepal. Built in the 5th century AD, the Boudhnath Stupa is a sacred site for Buddhists in Nepal and is believed to be the site where the Great Master Padmasambhava (also known as Guru Rinpoche) flew from Tibet to Nepal, meditated, and brought Buddhism to the valley. The stupa is a massive, white dome-shaped structure that reaches a height of about 120 feet (36 meters). It's surrounded by four sets of stairs leading to a platform that offers panoramic views of the city. The stupa is adorned with colorful prayer flags, murals, and intricate carvings that depict Buddhist deities, animals, and mythical creatures.
Swyambhunath (Monkey Tempe)
Swayambhu Nath (Monkey Temple) - west of Kathmandu, situated on a hillock, this 2000 years old Stupa is the world’s most glorious Buddhist shrine and is surrounded by several small pagodas. The main temple is capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt and is painted on the four sides with all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. There is an entrance fee of Rs 200 Per person for foreign visitors.

After breakfast in Hotel in Kathmandu, slowly drive towards the Chitlang village passes through West-South part of Kathmandu Valley. Chitlang Village is the ancient Newar settlement in Nepal. Mt. Annapurna (8091m.) Mt. Everest (8848.86m.) Langtang Lurung (7234m.), Ganesh Himal (7422m.), Langtang Ri (7205m.) and many more scenic views of Himalayan peaks can be seen on the way to Chitlang from Kathmandu Valley.
